49th Parallel Dance Company (Vancouver/NYC) presents a new mixed program featuring the work of company directors Ariana Champlin, a Buxton, Maine native, and Carolyn Schmidt of British Columbia, along with pieces by company dancers Amanda Tay and Vivake Khamsingsavath.  With collaboration as a central focus for this show, audiences can expect to enjoy diverse and electrifying contemporary dance from a variety of artistic voices.  Pathways is a visual, kinetic expression of human emotions, relationships and what it means to be alive in our complex modern world.  49th Parallel’s dynamic work has been seen at venues and festivals across the continent, including The Young Choreographer’s Festival (NYC) and Feats Festival of Dance (Edmonton, AB).  Last year’s presentation, Watering Hole, was uplifting and memorable.  SRT is thrilled to once again host this vibrant young dance company!
