Description
An entertaining show featuring hits and standards from the American Songbook, presented by MICHELLE DELLAFAVE! Michelle became a familiar face to millions of television viewers in the late 1960s and early '70s, when at the age of 19, she was selected to be one of Dean Martin's Golddiggers on his weekly series and on The Golddiggers' own summer variety show. Standing out among her peers by virtue of her vocal talent and popularity with audiences, Michelle was in time plucked from the ranks of The Golddiggers to be one-fourth of a quartet called The Dingaling Sisters, who performed their own numbers and sang with Dean each week on his program. As part of The Golddiggers and Dingalings ensembles, Michelle also participated in two of Bob Hope's globe-spanning USO Christmas tours. In addition, she was featured regularly as one-half of the singing-dancing Soul Sisters on Jonathan Winters' syndicated series; made guest appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Mike Douglas Show; played one of the Radio City Rockettes in the film version of the musical Annie; and has sung and acted in many Equity theater presentations. Michelle has also produced two of her own vocal CDs — a pop/jazz album called Cool Burn and a Gospel collection entitled Transformed. Since 2010, Michelle has continued to perform both on her own and in league with others, often on behalf of veterans and the military. Over the last three years, she has sung at a number of events organized by the United War Veterans Council of New York, and she continues to work with US TOURS on their Bob Hope Tribute Show.
