Come join Tim Kava and Sasha Weiss on their Emojinal journey from (scared face with wrinkly mouth) to (happy whistling face) as they work from the inside out to find the true feelings behind the beloved emoji. Tim and Sasha have known each other since college at The Boston Conservatory, and have been through the ups and downs of their late teens to early 30s together and they are super emojinal about it. Sasha holds a BFA in Musical Theatre with an emphasis in Acting and Vocal Repertoire from The Boston Conservatory, as well as an MFA in Musical Theatre from San Diego State University. NYC credits include: Jerry Springer the Opera (Carnegie Hall); Colette Collage, I and Albert, The Grand Tour (York Theatre); Carrie: the Musical (industry reading, dir. Stafford Arima); Dig Lenny Bruce (industry reading, dir. Jerry Dixon) TV: ABC's What Would You Do? (Ugly Americans in Paris, Overly Friendly Customers). Commercials: Jenny Craig nat'l (w/Mariah Carey). Sasha has had the pleasure of performing her own one woman cabarets all over NYC, San Diego, and LA. She currently teaches at Pace University's BFA Musical Theatre program. Tim received his BFA from The Boston Conservatory. Credits include Damn Yankees (Ocean City Theater Company), Boys In The Club (Regeneration Theater), Collapse (New York New Works Festival), The Tiny Mustache (NYC Workshop), Arcadia, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Heidi Chronicles, All Lost To Prayers, The Shadowbox, Roberta & Wonderful Town.
