The original two Micks were both third generation Irishman poets from Chicago and New York. The chick – Andrea Bond, well they’re not positive where she’s from. Belfast perhaps. She’s classically trained. Before they all got together, One of the Micks was performing Shakespeare and playing in Irish bars, while Mick Lynch was singing ballads and fiddling around at the Café Aroma. That’s where the Micks met.

So one day this gorgeous opera singer drops in, I mean from out of nowhere. “I’m searching for a music that will be more meaningful, she pleaded; Music that will inspire my listeners. I need to be more earthy”,

Now being the gallant gentleman that they were, the two Micks decided to form a trio, right then and there. Strictly on the up and up mind you. The rest is history. Off course life moves on as did one of the Micks. We are now “ Three Micks & a Chick."   Mick Lynch, Andrea Bond , Mark Berres, a wonderful drummer and John King, whom you might all know as a member of , “That's All Folk.”
