Teenage singer/songwriter Gina Royale and her band perform material off Gina's debut EP, "Heir", as well as other original songs.
Gina Royale, 18, is a singer/songwriter from rural New Jersey attending William Paterson University. With a voice so "bluesy, honest, arrestingly emotive", she is sure to please as she performs selections from her debut EP, "Heir", as well as unheard material from her upcoming EP "Battle Cry" (Aquarian Magazine). Her contemporary/pop style is a combination of clever lyrics, memorable melodies, and an earnest passion for songwriting. Royale is honored and privileged to be in the company of a remarkable group of musicians.
Emily Case (guitar) is a 19 year old guitarist from central New Jersey. She has been playing guitar for the past 10 years. She currently attends William Paterson University, majoring in Popular Music. Emily has played guitar for the New Jersey Repertory Theatre, located in South Brunswick, NJ, in their productions of 13! The Musical, Once On This Island, and Rent. She has also played guitar for the Villagers Theatre in Somerset, NJ, in their productions of Legally Blonde The Musical, and The Who’s Tommy.
Luke Gray Davis (drums) is from Clinton, New Jersey, and is 19 years old. Being classically trained in percussion he is also a singer/songwriter and a self taught guitar player. He is attending his second semester as a freshman enrolled in the popular music program at William Paterson.
Graham Orbe, a young bass player, started his musical endeavors at a very young age. Graham’s musical background really started to excel when he joined a program called 'School of Rock' when he was 12. Eventually, Graham earned the right to play with the drummer from the Allman Brothers, the guitar player from David Bowie, and even open up for Jane's Addiction at a music festival in Times Square – all because of the program. Graham and two other School of Rock alumni started a band. Graham’s band, “Summit”, has released two studio albums. There is no question that the success of the band is the end result of him and his friends learning the ropes through School of Rock. Unfortunately, Graham and his two closest bandmates (and friends for that matter) had to split ways and attend college. Graham is now a freshman at William Paterson University longing to receive his B.A. in popular music. And although he is hard at work, Graham still gives plenty of time to what is most important to him – music, his band, and helping kids achieve success and musical results through the lovely program that we call School of Rock.
