Description
John Saponaro is a comedian, actor and writer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. As a comedian, John performs nightly all over New York City and on the road at some of the country's most well-known clubs. He is also the regular opener for Chris Franjola (Chelsea Lately) and "The Reverend" Bob Levy (The Howard Stern Show). John has been a featured performer at several festivals, including; Gilda's Laughfest, Hoboken Comedy Festival, Laugh Your Asheville Off, Make Me Laugh: Albany, Yonkers Comedy Festival, Last Comix Standing and The Finger Lakes Comedy Festival. John is a SAG-AFTRA actor who has appeared on episodes of Gotham, The Deuce, Smash, Royal Pains and in the feature film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. He co-created, co-wrote and co-starred in the online sketch comedy series No Standing. Starting in January, John will be an arena host for the Monster Jam Triple Threat Series, touring cities all over the country. John is an ongoing contributing writer to the online parody site Absrd Comedy.
