Daniel Fornero & KUSD Jazz Ensembles Description
This year’s KUSD Jazz Festival will feature our guest artist, Dan Fornero. Originally from Kenosha, Dan Fornero has established a prominent career as a freelance trumpet player. He has contributed to dozens of critically-acclaimed film scores, as well as having toured with musicians such as Tom Jones, Phil Collins, and Neil Diamond. Most recently, Dan Fornero has been performing with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band, an internationally known ensemble with a reputation as one of the most exciting large ensembles in Jazz.
