V’s producer, David Saxe, grew up in a showbiz family. His mom was a showgirl in Les Folies Bergere and father, Dick Saxe, a band leader for “The Rat Pack.” Literally raised backstage, specialty acts were David’s favorite part of the shows. In those days, the acts were used as transitions or bridges between main performances, but David wanted to bring them to the forefront.

He began developing a concept for a variety show that would feature the best, most unique short performances in the world on all one stage, the ultimate in Las Vegas entertainment, a show with something for everyone… V - The Ultimate Variety Show.
