Description
“It is rare for people to be asked the question which puts them squarely in front of themselves.” In the Puritan town of Salem, Massachusetts in 1692, a group of girls led by Abigail Williams, begins accusing town members of witchcraft. These false accusations include Elizabeth Proctor whose husband, John, has been having an affair with Abigail. Based on the Salem Witch trails, and in response to the McCarthyism of the 1950’s, this modern-day production of Arthur Miller’s Classic story presents audiences with the question, “Is this happening in our society today?” |
