For one night only, amfAR CEO Kevin Robert Frost takes you on an autobiographical journey of his life since moving to New York City on February 14, 1990. Arriving at the height of the AIDS epidemic, he became an activist with the group ACT UP and later worked in research studies at NYU Medical Center. All the while, he continued to work as a musician/actor and toured with several companies. Though he ultimately left his musical career behind, the New York Times profiled him in a November 13, 2011 article titled “A Singer’s Search for a Cure.” This show represents a return to his musical roots after a more than 20-year absence from performing. The show is dedicated to his husband Nik and their twin boys Tristan and Noah.
All proceeds from this performance will benefit amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research.
