Description

The Phoenix Youth Symphony will honor local music teachers in our annual Teacher Appreciation Concert Feb. 24, 2019, 3:00 pm. Come join us and experience 200 of the finest young musician in our community. Don't miss the series premiere for our newest ensemble, the Prelude Strings. You will also hear the Strings Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Chamber Winds and the Symphonette perform great works of music by the composers Wagner, Khachaturian and Gliere. Our concert will conclude with the majestic mass orchestra performance of all the student participants. Maestros Maurer, Cross, Grzyb, Vogel and Temme hope to see you for an afternoon of terrific live music that will awe and inspire you.
