Description
DVAC is proud to announce our newest gallery show, Hemet
Collects. To celebrate the new show, an opening
reception will be held at the Center located at 123 N. Harvard St. in Hemet on March 30th from 1pm to 3pm.
The culmination of much thought and planning has brought 'Hemet Collects' to Diamond Valley Arts Council's gallery. Charles Schoenkneckt curated an exciting combination of collectibles from throughout the Valley. A diverse group of collectors from our community have loaned examples of their collections to share with the public. The show gives insight into the collector's passions and philosophies through visual experience. This show contains painting, drawings, lithos, woodblock prints and decorative arts objects from the 1800's to the present. The ''arts'' in their many creative facets are well represented in this exhibit. Highlights include 2 and 3 dimensional pieces of Asian Art, Retro collectibles, Retablo Art and much more. It is an exciting eclectic collection curated from works in our community. This is a must see show and will only be presented for the next month, ending April 14th. During the reception on March 30th, speakers and collectors will be available to answer any questions. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy this captivating show. The Diamond Valley Arts Council is a 501(c)3 organization. DVAC is member supported and requires your attendance, participation and donations to continue to provide great Arts to the Hemet / San Jacinto Valley. Items Not Allowed
Please no outside food or beverages.
