When it was released in 1994, Disney's The Lion King won the hearts of children and adults around the world. Now watch as Pelham Community Theatre brings this iconic story to the stage - a story of love, sacrifice, betrayal, redemption, and the Circle of Life!
Disney's The Lion King tells the story of Simba, a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands. However, tragedy strikes, and Simba is manipulated into thinking he was responsible and flees into exile. The years go by, and Simba grows up with two unlikely friends. As an adult, Simba is given some valuable perspective from his childhood friend, Nala, and his shaman, Rafiki, before returning to challenge his uncle Scar to end his tyranny and take his place in the Circle of Life as the rightful King.
