Description
Historian J. Michael Francis has dedicated his career to conquering centuries of half-truth and distortion about the myth of Florida's founding. Nobody has ever needed to find the Fountain of Youth more than Francis; he just hopes he lives long enough to do so. While Ponce de León's famous fountain is probably nothing but legend, he needs to fill his wineskin from those make-believe waters just in case. Francis specializes in what happened when the Spanish arrived in the New World. While he knows a lot, he wonders if he has only scratched the surface and whether he needs to live forever to learn the truth.
