Phil York & Fausto International Hard Dance Sessions Tour
Blutonium Boy Hot Pink Delorean Terravita Sluggo and more! Phil York- Fiery haired Northern hard trance veteran Phil York hasn’t taken his foot of the pedal for the last few years tearing up and down the U.K motorways playing for the likes of Goodgreef, Bionic, Kiddfectious, Escape, Frantic, Atomik weekender, Hindsight, Mayhem as well as his London residency at the legendary Freeformation parties! Phil has also been clocking up his airmile’s playing to sell out crowds around Europe for the likes of Q-Dance, Radical (Spain) Quartz Festival as well as further afield in Canada, U.S.A, South Africa, Australia & New Zealand! Fausto- Every now and then the world of dance music loses a talent, yet gains an icon. DJ Fausto has been in the game for over twenty years now and whereas some people would lose inspiration or enthusiasm, he is still pursuing to stay at the top position that he has earned over the past two decades. If you take a look at the immense list of events that Fausto has performed at, you will know that he has taken quite a long road up to the point where he finds himself nowadays. Headlining a.o. Trance Energy (closing set at Main Stage), DefQon1 (Holland and Australia), Qlimax, Sensation Black, Impulz, In Qontrol, Q-Base, Ground Zero, Decibel, Mystery Land, Miami Winter Conference, Full Moon Party (Thailand), Monday Cruise Bar (Sweden), Hard House Academy (UK), a residency at Pendragon (UK), Loveparade (Germany), it's just a small part of Fausto's impressive resumé. In fact, he is one of the very few artists who can refer to eight different performances at the infamous Dance Valley Festival, including several closing sets at different stages. Blutonium Boy- The career story of BLUTONIUM BOY, before also known as DJ Session One, begins in a small club in South Germany. In 1988 he began to play in clubs as a resident DJ for more than 2500 people. His gigs were so successful that rave organizers and clubs from foreign countries started to book him. His talent became known in many countries all over the world. The real success of BLUTONIUM BOY began in 1997 togehter with founding his own record label called Blutonium Records, later Blutonium Media Germany with 3 sublabels. Hot Pink Delorean- Picture walking into a packed nightclub; the air is thick and smells of booze, the people are sweaty, the women are scantily clad and everyone has one hand in the air while the other gropes the person next to them. Two men are on stage surrounded by sexy hot pink female gogo dancers bouncing to the beat. One of them slams around like an enraged gorilla while controlling the computer and turntables unleashing massive kick drums pushing the low end of the sound system while ripping guitarlike synths tear through the high end as one of the men onstage MCs and controls the dripping sexed up mob destroying the dance floor. You have just experienced a second of a Hot Pink Delorean performance. Hot Pink Delorean’s tune, with Fantastadon, “Party Favour” received worldwide club and radio play from DJs like Carl Cox, Benny Benassi, Kissy Sell Out (BBC 1 uk), Bloody Beetroots, Dave Spoon (BBC 1 uk), Richard Vision (Power 106 LA), Loose Cannons (Kiss FM uk), Donald Glaude, Fake Blood and more. Terravita- Terravita is probably best known as the drum & bass alter ego of electro power house Hot Pink Delorean, but the trio of Chris Barlow, Matt Simmers and Jon Spero were making DnB for years before trying their hands at house music. The group was first picked up in 2006 by Maldini & Vegas's Bad Taste Recordings, releasing 4 tunes with them on their Bad Taste 2 LP. Shortly thereafter Simon Bassline Smith signed the group to a deal with his Technique Recordings label. Terravita released 4 singles with Technique before parting ways including the jump up hit "Adult Robot Kung Fu". Since parting ways with Technique, Terravita has released several tunes with Subsonik Sound as well as a remix of AK1200's rave anthem "Drowning" that hit #4 on the Beatport Drum & Bass Charts. In November of 2010, Terravita released "Up In the Club" on Beta Recordings, which hit #4 on the Dubstep charts and #94 on the Overall charts on Beatport. Terravita has more Beta releases lined up as well as a 4 track EP for Rottun forthcoming. |
