Please read the following before beginning your registration.
Please have your students information including student number, shirt size, and payment ready before adding items to your cart. Good morning AUSD families, Please take a moment to read the following important information regarding meal distribution changes, non-contact meal payments through eFunds, and applications for the 2020-21 school year. Meal Distribution Information While Arcadia Unified will begin the school year with Distance Learning, the Nutrition Services department will continue to offer a grab & go breakfast and lunch each day. During a designated lunch break, parents will be able to drive through a location at their student’s school site to pick up a lunch for that day and a breakfast for the following day. Unlike last spring, when an emergency Federal waiver allowed us to serve all meals for free, we are now required to charge our regular fees for meals. Breakfast is $2.50, lunches are $4.00 for grades K-5 and $5.00 for grades 6-12. Students on the reduced-price meal program will be charged $0.25 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. Students who qualify for free meals will not be charged. Non-Contact Meal Payments We strongly encourage you to sign up for an eFunds account, on our website, to make payments online. eFunds is a safe and secure way to make sure that your student has money available for these meals. To start using eFunds, visit https://payments.efundsforschools.com/v3/districts/55224/. Free and Reduced-Price Meal Program Applications Applications for the free and reduced-price meal program for the 2020-21 school year are now available online. You can find them on the Nutrition Services page of the AUSD website, and here’s a direct link to the application https://arcadiausd.rocketscanapps.com/. A new application is needed each year. More specific information on the meal distribution process will be coming in the next few weeks. We look forward to continuing to provide students with healthy grab & go meals during these challenging times. Feel free to call the Nutrition Services office at (626) 821-8322 with any questions. Thank you and stay safe. Kathleen Ashworth, AUSD Director of Nutrition Services |
