Description

Current American Heart Association standards for one and two rescuer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and obstructed airway procedures on the adult, infant and pediatric victim. Use of automated external defibrillator and resuscitative equipment. Students receive healthcare provider BLS eCard upon successful completion of the course.

STEP 1: Students are to go to the following site and take the online course (fee is $28.50) PRIOR to taking this class.

STEP 2: The cost for skills assessment is $25 which covers the cost of skills instruction and your card. Registering through PurplePass and paying the $25 fee will provide you with a reserved seat in class to complete the skills portion needed to complete your BLS provider course. You will receive your card on the same day upon successful completion of the skills course.

Please Note:

Students must take the elearning portion of the class by following the link above prior to coming to the campus to get checked off on the skills.
Students must print off their certificate of completion of the online AHA course and bring it to class with them to be eligible to participate in the skills course.
Students who do not have their certificate of completion of the online course will not be eligible to take the skills course, regardless of payment.
All registration fees are non-refundable.
Seating is limited.

**Students will be required to wear masks for the skills portion of the program. Class size is limited to 10 students to maintain safe distancing.**
