Meet Your Dream Rope Partner Event, 8-10:30pm

Curious about getting tied up but clueless about how to do it? In this 1-hour class that mixes lecture with class participation, you’ll learn how to find and evaluate a rope partner, negotiate and prepare for a scene, and stay as safe as possible while you’re in rope. No experience necessary. This class is aimed at bottoms, but tops are welcome to attend too if interested in discussing bottoming.partners, this is for you. Tops, bottoms, and switches of any gender, orientation, and skill level are welcome at this fun event in a beautiful, alluring space lit for the mood and as comfy as can be.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re single or looking to expand your circle of rope partners, this is for you. Tops, bottoms, and switches of any gender, orientation, and skill level are welcome at this fun event in a beautiful, alluring space lit for the mood and as comfy as can be.

Get to know potential soul mates through hands-on rope games — with great prizes (no experience required). Feel like just watching? Take a seat on a couch or plush floor pillow and eye the goings-on to your heart’s content. Would a drink loosen you up (responsibly)? Grab a very reasonably priced wine or beer at the bar. And if you meet someone right away, feel free to sneak off and negotiate some play on the spot.

This will be a no-pressure, consent-oriented environment. Before the games begin, we will review the basics of negotiating a rope scene and giving and getting an enthusiastic “yes.” Unwanted touching, excessive drinking, or other inappropriate behavior will get you kicked out.

About the space: Guava is a gorgeous new space in Emeryville, just 15 minutes from downtown SF. It’s in its own building, is easy to find and offers plenty of safe and well-lit parking.
