Description
Follow your Art and join the San Diego Festival of the Arts Foundation, Inc., and San Diego Magazine in celebrating the 35th San Diego Festival of the Arts™ at an all-new North San Diego location, the San Diego Surf Sports Park, formerly the Del Mar Polo Fields. Elevate your experience at the area’s only 21+ outdoor art festival for a cause. Interact with 150+ critically acclaimed fine artists from around the country while enjoying live music and catching the ocean breeze on the open green turf. Guests will appreciate an array of palate pleasing cuisine from San Diego’s favorite restaurants while sipping local craft beer, fine wine and spirits. The new location boasts plenty of on-site parking for $10 per vehicle for the day. The Festival is produced in part by the San Diego Festival of the Arts Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization that raises funds to support adaptive sports and recreation programs for San Diegans with disabilities, and in part by San Diego Magazine. The Festival is a unique opportunity to combine your support for adaptive programs and services that help those who have incurred serious and long term injuries, and artists who work hard to bring beauty, creativity and imagination to us every day. As a 501(c)(3), the Festival proceeds benefit adaptive sports and recreation opportunities for San Diegans with disabilities. Take the opportunity to help support your community, meet special people and enjoy a wonderful day of fun and excitement!
Saturday, September 11th: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday, September 12th: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
San Diego Magazine and San Diego Festival of the Arts Foundation, Inc., is committed to providing a safe event experience for our participants, supporters, attendees, and staff. While state & county regulations are lifting on June 15th, we still feel an obligation to ensure the community's health and safety. With events on the horizon, we know it can bring a mix of emotions from positive to negative. In order to help our community feel more comfortable, here's what to expect at all of our events taking place in 2021: ● Disposable masks will be readily available to everyone at the venue. Per the California Department of Public Health and CDC regulations, masks are mandatory when not actively eating or drinking at any outdoor event through October 1, 2021 in the state of California. *There are exceptions to this rule. See here for further details.
● Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the venue and available at each restaurant booth. We request that you please utilize hand sanitizer before taking samples.
● Social distancing will not be mandatory, but it will be encouraged unless state and county guidelines state otherwise.
● Reusable cups, utensils, and plates will not be available. All sampling exhibitors will be handing out one-time use cups, utensils, and plates. Exhibitors have been encouraged to bring environmentally friendly tossware.
● Emails will be collected during online purchasing so event organizers may notify participants, attendees, and staff in the unlikely event of someone testing positive with COVID-19 within 10 days of the event.
These protocols are subject to change as new federal, state, or county guideline updates occur. As a reminder, any large gatherings do increase the risk of contracting COVID-19. While we can do our best to prevent the spread, we cannot guarantee it will not occur. Attendees, partners, vendors, and staff are participating in the event at their own risk and neither San Diego Magazine nor San Diego Festival of the Arts Foundation Inc., is liable for any event participant or attendee contracting COVID-19.
