Kristin Lee, violin Nicholas Canellakis, cello Michael Brown, piano Description
Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel were mutual admirers and rivals who resided on opposite sides of the early 20th-century French musical spectrum. Debussy, the dreamy symbolist, conjured mesmerizing sonic landscapes, while Ravel, the glittering perfectionist, explored kaleidoscopically colorful musical worlds. Three of today’s most charismatic young musicians, violinist Kristin Lee, cellist Nicholas Canellakis, and pianist Michael Brown will perform glittering musical highlights from La Belle Époche.
