On November 13, 2021, an incredible group of regional performers will engage the public in a fundraising event to celebrate 80th birthday of locally-known personality, Camille Fife. The concert will bring together an incredibly talented group of people and benefit the exciting revitalization of Madison, Indiana’s own Ohio Theater. The Ohio Theatre opened in 1938 and was the site of the first showing of the 1958 movie “Some Came Running “ starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Shirley MacLaine. Long a town favorite, it succumbed to a fire in 2018, which damaged the roof and allowed mother nature in to do her worst. Further damage was caused by delays in repairs and construction. The building has been owned by the not-for-profit Friends of the Ohio Theatre since 2016, which has recently engaged nationally known consultants to bring about renovation and revitalization.
