Description

The SSO’s first concert of the 45th season begins - and ends - with some of Baroque's Best: Vivaldi and Handel.

We will be featuring a small set of strings, all masked, fully vaccinated, socially distanced, to ensure the safety of our performers and patrons. All patrons must be properly masked. Vaccinations are highly encouraged for those who are eligible.

There will be two concerts held on the same day at the same venue, one at 4pm, the other at 7pm. This is for the sale of the 4pm tickets.

Sibelius – Rakastava (The Lover), Op. 14

Elgar – Elegy, Op. 58

Bartok/arr. Willner – Rumanian Dances

Hanson – Rhythmic Variations on Two Ancient Hymns

Rush – Psalm (from Psalm and Jubilation)

Handel – Concerto Grosso Op. 6, No. 5

Children up to 10 years old are free, but should reserve a ticket for capacity/attendance limits. Student and senior tickets available at 4pm.
