Description

Beaumont Civic Ballet presents its annual performance of Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" with a fun and "Nutty" twist. "The Nutcracker" was first presented to Beaumont in 1971 and has continued to cast over 100 local performers featuring Beaumont Civic Ballet's Junior and Senior Company dancers. If you have seen the original then the NUTTY is a MUST see! The story is set in 19th century Germany and opens at a Christmas party where the mysterious Dr. Drosselmeyer gives little Clara a magical toy Nutcracker doll that takes her on an unforgettable journey through the Land of Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. See the twists and turns this story takes as we incorporate a modern funny flare for young and old alike.
