Description

In Act 1 of the show, our ballet dancers will be performing the full-length story ballet of the classic Nutcracker. We'll see Clara and her family dance with friends during their evening party, where she's given the Nutcracker doll as a present! As night draws near, guests begin to leave and the household gets ready for bed. Clara falls asleep with her beloved Nutcracker, and dreams of her doll, who turns into a prince, and takes her to a magical place, called the Land of Sweets. Here, in dreamland, Clara dances with the Snowflakes, Spanish Coffee, Marzipans, Sugar Plum Fairy, and more!

In Act 2, our Soo Dance Competition Team will be performing group numbers, demonstrating what they work so hard at all year long! These dancers are of all ages, and have been successfully competing at dance competitions all over the bay area, representing Soo Dance Academy. We are so proud of them!
