A reading of The Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman A staged reading of ‘It Is What It Is’ a one-act play written by Coker University alumni Isaiah Washington. 'It Is What It Is' follows the story of a love affected by the hurt of a
past relationship. Guided by music and video, we journey through what
could’ve been while learning to accept a true but incredibly difficult
message, “it is what it is”. A presentation of AZAADEH by Coker Theatre Professor, Phyllis Fields is a drama in one-act. It is ay story of mothers and daughters, family and identity, freedom and life-altering decisions. Set in the pre-war South, what should a mother do for her daughter? “What would you do if you could be someone else?” AZAADEH is written and directed by Phyllis Fields, Professor of Theatre, McCall School of Visual and Performing Arts. |
