The Nevada Room is proud to present the sensational and sizzling R&B vocal group, The Next Movement.      

Formed on Chicago’s South Side in 1972 and going strong 50 years later, the group’s original members – Cornell Haywood, Earl Shelby, and Samuel Thomas, Jr. – idolized the harmony groups of the 60’s and 70’s such as The Temptations, Jackson 5, The Dells and The Chi-Lites.      

Having performed in Las Vegas in 1976 with comedy legend Redd Foxx at The Thunderbird, the group was also named by Oprah Winfrey as Best Vocal Group in Chicago.   

The Next Movement brings show-stopping music coupled with “smooth as glass” dance moves to create an evening that you won't ever forget.
