The World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival is an event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis.  To date over $300k has been donated to the RMH which houses children stricken with cancer and their families.  The festival is a one day event doors open at 11:00 am.  Bands begin at 1:00 pm and continue until the gates close at 7:00 pm. Attendees are able to sample wings from the many competitor teams for a small donation.  Over 80 teams will compete along with international teams from Canada, South Africa, and Mexico amongst others.
