“Little Women” Adapted by Thomas Hischak Dramatic Publishing Company; Woodstock, Illinois Thomas Hischak’s adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women is an epic tale that covers several years and many characters. The play shares the story of the four March girls as they make the transition to womanhood and struggle to conform to society’s strict ideals of femininity in the midst of poverty.
