During his almost 40 years in the Sacramento music scene, Jeff was the drummer, singer, three-string guitarist and creative battery of over a dozen bands including Warp 11, the galaxy's PREMIERE Star Trek themed band. (It’s not what you think. It’s more of a Sex, Drugs and Star Trek kind of thing.) He was also a talented graphic designer, sketch comedy writer/performer and loving father.
To honor Jeff’s creative genius, we have assembled four of the bands Jeff helped form to rock Orangevale one final time with his unique style of music, humor and genius. All the proceeds from this gig will go to Jeff's wonderful daughter.

Nüde Beach – Formed 1986
From the mean streets of Carmichael and the hotbed that was Northern California‘s ‘80s music scene, Sacramento’s premiere party cover band, Nüde Beach, was born. Nüde Beach’s raucous and alcohol-fueled shows quickly earned a devoted crowd of partiers, and the attention of law enforcement agencies all across California.
Fantastic Mothers – Formed 1997
A band Jeff created for his infamous “Johnny Fantastic” persona. Johnny was a punk rock icon known for his dangerous and intensely excessive lifestyle (it's said that both Keith Moon and Keith Richards based their lifestyles on Johnny Fantastic). Johnny's songs were funny, obnoxiously NSFW and everything you would expect from Jeff's twisted mind.
Skeleton Voodoo Monkey - Formed 2012
Skeleton Voodoo Monkey prowled the bars, alleys, and condos of Orangevale, fueled by Der Wienerschnitzel, Natural Ice and a shared love of the pornographic arts. Their unobvious blend of hard-hitting rock, grunge and harmonica will result in a sonic assault that will melt your brain and make your ears beg for mercy - in a good way!
Warp 11 - Formed 1999
Warp 11 is a rock band from Sacramento, California that performs original songs with lyrics entirely about Star Trek. Warp 11's music covers a range of styles including alternative, classic rock, punk, country and blues. Their lyrics are humorous and sometimes profane. They have released eight albums and opened for the great William Shatner himself!
