Description
Southwest Ballet Theatre finishes its 8th season with a spring performance of two magical but contrasting ballets. First, excerpts of A Midsummer Night's Dream based on Shakespeare's best-known comedy. Then, the dramatic Russian folktale The Firebird, set to the music of Igor Stravinksy. All performances at Estrella Mountain Community College's Performing Arts Center in Avondale, AZ. This performance is under the artistic direction of Tasha Stramecki. Featuring guest artists Anthony V. Spaulding II, Jorge Richard Lagunas, and dancers from Grand Canyon University.
The Performing Arts Center is located on the north side of the Estrella Mountain Community College. Park in lot G. Will call opens an hour before performance time and the house opens 30 minutes before the performance. Additional Information
EMCC students attend for free but must reserve tickets online AND bring student ID for free entry. Students without student ID must pay General Admission at the door to attend.
