Interactive Installation/Physical Theater. Enlgish. 15 minutes. Created by Sarah Gallegos & Aleksander Varadian A woman sits in a nail salon surrounded by the language of her father’s people, from which she feels estranged. Based on a stream-of-consciousness inner monologue, this performance installation investigates the relationship between cultural identity and language. The audience will explore how language can simultaneously connect and alienate through engaging with live performance, audio content, and written and visual art as we pose the question: What does belonging mean?
