Life began as a fairytale for the Price family, a beautiful Baltimore trio with big dreams and a lot of love. But fairytales don’t always have a happy ending. For Vincent Price, Jr., all signs point towards happiness, and success as he prepares to graduate from medical school and start his own practice. With the support of his parents, he has surpassed every expectation and negated every stereotype. Unfortunately, even being the best of the best doesn’t protect us from what can feel like the greatest blessing or the most horrible curse – life. The trials and tribulations of the black man are often steeped in a dedicated tradition of strong and fortified masculinity. But what happens when the veil between perception and reality is torn? We do our best to remain strong as the men that the world expects to see. However, that energy comes with an expiration date. Vince Jr. has reached his breaking point. And he may not be the only one.
