Description
By Lisa Peterson and Denis O’Hare based on Homer’s The Iliad, translated by Robert Fagles APRIL 11-13 at 7:00 p.m. A lone figure steps onstage with only a suitcase and a burden. He must tell us a story. It’s a difficult one. Sometimes humorous. Often brutal. But he must tell it. And we are captivated from his first words. Achilles, Priam, Agamemnon, Helen. Their conflicts play out, not only in the past, but in war after war throughout history. And standing before us is the man who must tell that story again. This solo performance features Sir Nate Cass and directed by Kevin Record. |
