Description
Agatha Christie mystery meets Noel Coward wit during a merry, murderous weekend at an English country manor. Playwright Edward Bennett and his actress wife Sorel flee London, bickering all the way, after a disastrous opening night. Soon follows a lethal mix of eccentrics from comedy central casting – a priggish MP, a fiery American socialist, a zany modern dancer, and a nearsighted naif with a pistol – each with a long-held secret. When one of the guests turns up dead, it’s left to Bridgit, the feisty Irish maid with a macabre interest in homicide, to solve the crime. Additional Information
