Description
Roberto, alias “el Chino,” formerly “El diablito,” and before that, “El diablo,” is a child born in one of those dangerous neighborhoods that sprout in many Mexican cities. In the absence of his parents, Roberto has grown up in a menacing world where friends and enemies intertwine. The deer season has begun, the rifle is loaded, and the whole neighborhood is in sight. How many will survive? Do our circumstances seal our destiny? Circumstances that have become traditions: abandonment, insecurity, fear, the great desire to leave the neighborhood or to find a father, the thirst for blood, and for justice… especially justice served by one’s own hand. This play is performed in Spanish, with English Supertitles.
