Description

Tax collector and author, Miguel de Cervantes, is cast into prison by the Spanish Inquisition for foreclosing on a church. The prisoners are quick to ravish his possessions. Conceding all but one, a carefully wrapped manuscript, Cervantes requests he be allowed to win that one back with a dramatization of the adventures of Don Quixote.
