Description
Dances with Ivory performs in white traditional buckskin regalia and Fancy Shawl regalia, piano and Native American flute, sings, and creates ethereal sounds with the piano strings from the notes of the flute, wind chimes, voice, rain stick... Her selections are based on original tribal melodies of different tribes. She is of Cherokee heritage; Dances with Ivory is her Cherokee name translated. The show includes slides depicting the cultural background of each selection, and Native Storytelling. Dances with Ivory is beautiful, cultural, historical, ethereal, and authentic.
