"Trinity and Will are childhood friends living in rural Montana. Will craves change and Trinity fears it more than anything. Together, they attempt to usurp the futures they dread they are fated to live out.” Somebody In BumF*ck Montana, Loves Me is a new play By Sydney Kurland which explores the economic, social, and mental challenges that come with living in a small town. Somebody In BumF*ck, Montana Loves Me has been a finalist in the Goldberg Play Prize, had a workshop at NYU Tisch, and has had presentation excerpts in Purple Light Productions and EPIC Players NYC.. Trinity is a senior in high school and proud member of the Future Farmers of America. As graduation quickly approaches, she struggles to find the control in her life that she so desperately needs. Will, a high school dropout with anger management issues, has a strained relationship with his father. Will would do anything to keep Trinity happy; even if it includes helping her become a mother. We see the dysfunctional relationship between these two grow and change throughout the course of a year. CW: sexual themes, strong language |
