PSC Theatre Department Description
"Crimes of the Heart" is a play by American playwright Beth Henley. It is set in Hazlehurst, Mississippi in the mid-20th century and relates the story of the three Magrath sisters, who are back together in their hometown for the first time in a decade. Under the scorching heat of the Mississippi sun, past resentments bubble to the surface and each sister must come to terms with the consequences of her own “crimes of the heart.” |
