Providing an opportunity for the great emerging talent in Florida’s high school instrumental music programs to learn and perform through a selective and inspiring ensemble experience, the UCF Bands are proud to sponsor the annual UCF Knights Rising High School Honor Band. This year, students from 30 high schools across Florida were selected from a total of 294 nominations to participate in our two honor bands, rehearsing and performing under the leadership of nationally renowned guest conductor-educators. Their work will culminate in a concert performance in the Pegasus Ballroom of the UCF Student Union at 6:00 PM on Saturday, February 1.
