Description
UCF’s Summer Flute & Piccolo Institute is a one-week intensive program designed to educate and inspire young flutists through an interesting and cultivating curriculum that examines many aspects of flute and piccolo performance. Each member will be placed in a flute choir, including full instrumentation (Piccolo, C flute, Alto flute, Bass flute and Contrabass flute) that will help flute students to read repertory, develop intonation, rhythm, and ensemble skills. Daily master-classes and individual coaching appointments provide continual and concentrated input from faculty. Flute choir, small ensembles, and private instruction are grouped according to the level of advancement. In addition to the daily curriculum, guest artists will give classes to the students. At the end of this exciting week, each student will take part in a final recital. -------------------------------------------- Registration Deadlines:
