Description

This is a nationwide event for local high school students. Students choose a poem from a list of 1,000 titles, memorize them, and then present them to the public. The winner from each county moves on to the California State Poetry Out Loud competition and, if successful, travels to Washington DC. Questions: (530)742-ARTS.

Items Not Allowed

No outside food or drinks allowed inside the venue. No alcohol, drugs, weapons, or glass containers allowed. No recording devices, professional cameras, or video cameras permitted. No transmission or aiding in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event, game, performance, or exhibition.
