Kelly Goff

Description

The Art Department and Colby Arts present artist Kelly Goff, Associate Professor and Chair of Visual Art at Wheaton College, Massachusetts, alongside an exhibition of student work from Associate Professor Bradley Borthwick’s Fall 2024 studio courses at Colby College. Goff’s lecture will highlight his interdisciplinary research and creative practice, which is often informed by concerns about primary resource extraction and the exploration of place. Concurrently, sculptural works by twenty Colby students will occupy the gallery, fostering a dialogue between Goff’s lecture and the exhibition to emphasize a shared sculptural experience.
