Whittier College Student Theatre Production SILENT SKY WRITTEN BY LAUREN GUNDERSON Original Music by Jenny Giering Directed by Jennifer S. Holmes This music-rich play by Lauren Gunderson focuses on the true story of 19th-century astronomer Henrietta Leavitt and her female colleagues as they change the way people understand the universe and measure the stars. Performances on: February 27 at 7:30 pm February 28 at 7:30 pm March 1 at 7:30 pm March 2 at 2:00 pm 2 acts, one 15-minute intermission, play runs approximately 2 hours Ages 12 and up – There is no violence, nor offensive language, however the play is filled with primarily dialogue and may not be easy for younger children to sit through. Tickets are $15 general admission; $10 faculty, staff and alumni; $5 student.
