The "Dedicated to You" Mother's Day Event and Tribute to Brenton Wood

Dia De Las Madres - Mother's Day and the Tribute to Brenton Wood coming Saturday, May 10, 2025 to Greystone Castle. Join us as we gather to honor our mothers, wives, girlfriends, and abuelitas for Mother's Day and as we will also honor our friend, the great Brenton Wood. (This event is being produced in support of the "Father's Heart - Nellie's Kids" 13th Annual Community Christmas Outreach.)

ENTERTAINMENT

The event will feature the great Jr. Walker's All Stars ("Shotgun", "What Does It Take", "These Eyes", "Gotta Hold On To This Feeling", "Road Runner", "Cleo's Mood", and many more hits.) The event will also include the Chicano Soul Legends Tribute to Brenton Wood featuring Aki Starr in a musical tribute to Brenton Wood doing all of Brenton's hit songs and will also feature Ms. Kreo Rowlette. The show will also feature Denver's Queen of Chicano Soul and Souldies, Ms. Mayra Alejandra, Denver's premier Chicano Soul and Old School group Latin Sol, and from L.A., long time Brenton Wood companion, DJ Thinline. EVENT FEATURES
The Mother's Day celebration will be held at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton Thornton in the legendary Greystone Castle Event Center. There will be a cash alcohol and beverage bar and a cash snack bar that will offer various light food items. 75% of this room will be reserved seating.
