BPW is proud to present the Annual BPW Woman of the Year Award, recognizing professional women in our community who exemplify outstanding leadership, professional accomplishment, and service to the community.

 
 
 

The Award will be presented at the
2014 BPW Awards Program  
on
April 5, 2014 at 7:00 pm
at the
Sir Walter Raleigh Grand Ballroom
in beautiful downtown Raleigh, NC.

Please use our nomination page  at www.bpwnc.com to nominate your candidate for the BPW Woman of the Year Award.

The following criteria will be used to select our award recipient.    

  • The nominee's achievements can be representative of a lifetime's work or for more recent successes.
  • Her leadership and accomplishments should be regarded as a model for all women.
  • The nominee should be gainfully employed in a full-time professional  position  or an entrepreneur.  (full time volunteering does not meet the criteria).
  •  Any professional  woman of color in the Triangle area is eligible for nomination.
  • The nominee does not have to be a member of BPW.
  • Nominee must reside in the Triangle area.
 
You may submit your 2014 BPW Woman of the Year Award nomination online.  Be sure to thoroughly and accurately describe the nominee's most important attributes. Please feel free to provide any additional information and attachments that would assist in the review process.

The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2014.  All finalists will be notified within a week of the closing date.

The submitted nominees will be narrowed down to 10 semi- finalists and then 3 finalists.   The 3 finalists will be our VIP guests at the awards dinner where the winner will be announced on April 5, 2014 at 7:00 pm .
